• The EHEIM Reeflex UV 500 is a highly effective UV clarifier unit for fresh and marine water aquariums from approx. 300 up to 500 litres. The EHEIM Reeflex UV clarifiersuse UV-C radiation to clean aquarium water in fresh and sea water aquariums and are operated in the filter systems water cycle (discharge side) or by using a separate circulation pump (not included). Aquarium water permanently flows through a glass tube and past the UV-C bulb inside the aluminium body. As a result, free-floating algae, bacteria, fungi, viruses and other pathogens are reduced or eliminated. The EHEIM Reeflex UV clarifiers ensure that aquarium water is clean and crystal-clear, keeping the fish healthy.

  läuft bei mir seit 4 Wochen im 450L Becken seitdem keine Algenprobleme und den Pflanzen geht es super. ich dünge ganz normal obwohl ich teils gehört habe man soll mit UV Klärer mehr düngen ! ein UV Klärer macht auf jeden Fall Sinn und der Reeflex tut für den Preis genau das was er soll.

  Can i use a eheim pro4 350 on this unit ? The flow rate of the filter is 1050l/h, while the through flow of the reeflux seems lower ?

  Yes,you can use this filter. It is better to operate the UV unit in an Bypass with a separate tap to control the flow rate.
